The core concept of this project revolves around the concern that the prevalent human behavior of excessive electronic device usage could lead to significant skeletal deformities in the future. This project explores the complex relationship between such modern lifestyles and skeletal changes, incorporating the theories of "Epigenetics" and "Phenotypic Plasticity". These theories suggest that environmental factors and sustained poor posture can affect gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms, leading to permanent changes in bones and muscles. Additionally, the project envisions a futuristic company, OsteoLink, as a savior that offers expensive bone-correcting wearable devices, while critiquing the unethical practices of contemporary tech companies regarding user data exploitation.

A reflection on the impact of increasingly frequent use of electronics on the human body form.

The project hypothesizes a future model of the human hand by analyzing human behavior, the interaction between the human hand and the mobile phone. Through the analysis of changes and forms of bones, people's persistent dependence on technology products and possible effects on themselves can be reflected.

We have been thinking more about our dependence on electronic devices in today's age. Humans have developed a symbiotic relationship with electronic devices and we rely on these devices to help us remember things, such as taking photos with our mobile phones, which we can retrieve at any time in the future. This affects our narrative of our own history to some extent, as we no longer need to remember so many details and information, only where to find them. Without electronic devices, our memories may also be in an 'offline' state, more like a visual experiment in memory binarisation. In this project we have referred to a very wide range of literature, materials and produced a variety of design extensions and practical tests in different directions, and this portfolio will give you an overview of the different design explorations we have undertaken with digital hoarding and the final practical outputs.

MI 3 Station Vacuum Cleaner - 米家3代无线基站吸尘器

独立负责小米米家3代无线基站吸尘器的LED硬件屏幕和米家App中对应的插件UI和UE设计工作。  根据内测用户反馈,主动思考提出使用体验反馈并拆解需求和交互痛点,在上线前顺利完成优化调整和修改。 

该产品已于2025年4月20日正式上市。

Independently responsible for the LED hardware screen of the Xiaomi Mijia 3rd generation wireless base station vacuum cleaner and the corresponding plugin UI and UE design work in the Mijia App. According to the feedback from internal test users, actively think and put forward feedback on the use experience and disassemble requirements and interaction pain points, and successfully complete optimization adjustments and modifications before going online.

This product was officially launched on April 20, 2025.

DREAME X2 Vacuum Cleaner App UI - 追觅X2无线吸尘器App UI

负责Dreame Home中X系列吸尘器的软件UI和UE设计。作为追觅旗下吸尘器的初代UI,这是从0到1的一次框架搭建和界面构建。并从追觅吸尘器的家族化设计语言中汲取设计共通点,产出X系列的软件界面设计。

该项目入选2026 IF Awards


Responsible for the software UI and UE design of the X series vacuum cleaners in Dreame Home. As the first-generation UI of the vacuum cleaners under the Deebot brand, this was a process of framework establishment and interface construction from scratch. And by drawing on the common design elements of the Deebot vacuum cleaner's family design language, the software interface design for the X series was produced.

Independently responsible for the LED hardware screen design of the Dreame X series vacuum cleaners. Seeking changes and improvements from the old three-blade UI used by Dreame in the past, it also continues the digital motor design genes of the Dreame brand. This series of products include: single-machine version X1/X2/X3, base Station version X3 Station/X2 Station, and floor washing accessory version X2 Aqua/X3 Aqua

This product was officially launched in May 2025.

DREAME Z50 LCD UI - 追觅 Z50系列LCD UI设计

追觅 Z50 系列吸尘器 LCD 屏幕硬件 UI 设计在传承 Z 系列经典设计基因的基础上,实现了从功能导向到质感融合的迭代升级。​延续 Z 系列一贯简洁高效的界面逻辑,保留核心功能区块的布局框架,确保老用户的操作连贯性。

在此基础上,对视觉语言进行精细化革新:图标系统采用更具科技感的微曲面造型,线条粗细根据功能优先级进行梯度调整,运行状态指示的渐变色阶过渡也更清晰,既强化信息层级又提升视觉韵律。

为消除屏幕与机身的质感割裂,设计团队深度解析 Z50 系列的 CMF 方案,从视觉维度强化握持体验的延续性。让屏幕成为连接用户与机器的有机交互节点,而非孤立的功能显示装置。

该系列产品已于2025年6月正式上市。

Inheriting the Z series' classic design DNA, the LCD UI for Dreame Z50 vacuums upgraded from function focus to texture integration.

It keeps the Z series' concise interface logic and core function layout, ensuring familiar operation for existing users.

Visual tweaks include tech-inspired micro-curved icons, gradient line thickness by function priority, and clearer gradient status indicators—boosting info hierarchy and visual flow.

To unify screen and body texture, the team analyzed the Z50's CMF, enhancing visual continuity of the grip experience. The screen becomes an interactive link, not just a display.

The series launched in June 2025.

DREAME Z20 Ultra LCD UI - 追觅 Z50系列LCD UI设计

该项目是追觅 Z 系列 LCD 界面的全维度用户导向型迭代升级,以 “内外设计一体化、全场景体验无死角” 为核心目标,首次在 UI 中落地液态玻璃设计风格,实现视觉质感与产品 ID、CMF 设计的深度呼应。

液态玻璃核心设计语言,以高通透渐变、流体光影、匹配机身曲率的圆角体系,精准复刻产品高端材质质感,达成产品内外设计语言的统一;同时通过清晰的视觉层级强化核心信息优先级,兼顾家务场景的快速识别效率与复杂光线环境下的视觉舒适度,实现美学与功能性的平衡。

交互体验上,本次设计基于前代用户反馈与全场景可用性测试,系统性解决过往机型交互痛点,完成全流程优化与落地验证;补充了全链路操作提示与沉浸式新手引导,拆解全流程操作步骤,大幅降低用户学习成本。
本次升级打造了与产品物理性能强关联的沉浸动态交互体系,核心操作均匹配专属联动动效,给用户即时可感知的操作反馈;同时通过三维图形呈现故障可视化动画,直观标注故障位置与解决指南,显著提升问题处理效率。

针对海外市场,本次设计完成了深度多语言适配,不止于基础文字翻译,更针对不同语系的阅读习惯、排版规范、字体特性做了定制优化,覆盖全主流语种与特殊排版语种,同步适配全球各地区合规要求,平衡了全球化设计与本地化适配。

本次迭代不仅完成了单机型的视觉与体验升级,更构建了追觅 Z 系列旗舰全新的 UI 设计体系,打通工业设计与数字界面的设计壁垒,实现美学表达、功能体验、全球化适配的三位一体,既强化了旗舰产品的品牌辨识度,也完成了用户体验的全维度跃升。


This project is a comprehensive, user-centric iterative upgrade of the LCD interface for the Dreame Z Series. With the core mission of "Integrated Internal and External Design, Seamless Full-Scenario Experience", it marks the first implementation of the liquid glass design style in the UI, achieving deep design synergy between the visual texture of the interface and the product's ID (Industrial Design) and CMF (Color, Material & Finish) specifications.

The core liquid glass design language faithfully replicates the premium material texture of the product through high-clarity gradients, fluid light and shadow effects, and a rounded corner system perfectly aligned with the body curvature, realizing a unified design language across the product's physical form and digital interface. Meanwhile, it reinforces the priority of core information via a clear visual hierarchy, balancing at-a-glance readability in household cleaning scenarios with visual comfort under complex lighting conditions, and striking an optimal balance between aesthetics and functionality.

In terms of interactive experience, this design is built on user feedback from previous generations and full-scenario usability testing. It systematically resolves the interaction pain points of earlier models, with end-to-end experience optimization and implementation verification completed. It adds full-journey operation prompts and an immersive onboarding guide, breaking down the full operation workflow to significantly reduce the user learning curve.
This upgrade delivers an immersive dynamic interaction system deeply tied to the product's physical performance, with custom, synchronized motion effects for all core operations to provide users with immediate, tangible operational feedback. Meanwhile, it leverages 3D graphics to render fault visualization animations, intuitively marking fault locations and step-by-step troubleshooting guides, which dramatically improves problem resolution efficiency.

For overseas markets, this design features in-depth multilingual adaptation that goes far beyond basic text translation. It includes custom optimizations tailored to the reading habits, typographic specifications, and font characteristics of different language families, covering all mainstream languages and those with special typographic requirements. It also aligns with the regulatory requirements of regions worldwide, striking a balance between global design consistency and localized adaptation.

This iteration not only delivers visual and experience upgrades for a single model, but also establishes a brand-new UI design system for the Dreame Z Series flagship line. It breaks down the silos between industrial design and digital interface design, realizing the trinity of aesthetic expression, functional experience, and global adaptation. It not only strengthens the brand recognition of the flagship product line, but also achieves a comprehensive leap forward in user experience.

DREAME Z40增强版 LCD UI设计

在 Z40 增强版的机器 UI 优化项目中,主要负责统筹设计策略制定与落地执行。该项目的核心设计原则是延续 Z 系列一脉相承的视觉基因 —— 包括家族化的界面布局逻辑、标志性的交互动效语言及用户熟悉的功能模块架构,以此保障系列产品在用户认知层面的连贯性与辨识度。

由于设备搭载了全新的 BOE LCD 屏幕,我们重点针对屏幕特性展开了系统性分析:对比原屏幕,BOE LCD 在色域覆盖范围、色彩饱和度表现及明暗对比度等维度存在差异,可能导致原有 UI 设计在新屏幕上出现色彩偏色、视觉层次弱化等问题。基于此,我们从用户视觉体验出发,进行了多维度优化:一方面对界面基础色彩体系进行参数调校,通过调整主色调的明度曲线、优化辅助色的饱和度占比,确保核心视觉元素在新屏幕上的呈现效果与 Z 系列设计初衷一致。

另一方面针对高频交互场景(如图标显示、文字阅读、图片预览等),细化了元素的色彩适配规则,例如增强图标边缘的色彩对比度以提升识别度,优化文字与背景的色差值以保障可读性,最终在延续系列设计精髓的同时,让 UI 在新硬件载体上实现了更精准、更舒适的视觉表达。

In the UI optimization project for the Z40 Enhanced Edition, I was primarily responsible for overseeing the formulation and implementation of design strategies. The core design principle of this project was to carry forward the consistent visual DNA of the Z series—including the family-style interface layout logic, signature interactive animation language, and user-familiar functional module structure—thereby ensuring the coherence and recognition of the product series in terms of user perception.

Meanwhile, as the device was equipped with an all-new BOE LCD screen, we focused on conducting a systematic analysis of the screen's characteristics. Compared with the original screen, the BOE LCD exhibits differences in aspects such as color gamut coverage, color saturation performance, and light-dark contrast ratio, which might cause issues like color cast and weakened visual hierarchy in the original UI design when displayed on the new screen.

Based on this, we carried out multi-dimensional optimizations starting from the user's visual experience. On one hand, we adjusted the parameters of the basic color system of the interface: by modifying the lightness curve of the main color and optimizing the saturation proportion of auxiliary colors, we ensured that the presentation effect of core visual elements on the new screen remained consistent with the original design intention of the Z series. On the other hand, targeting high-frequency interaction scenarios (such as icon display, text reading, and image preview), we refined the color adaptation rules for elements. For example, we enhanced the color contrast at the edges of icons to improve recognition, and optimized the color difference between text and background to ensure readability. Ultimately, while preserving the essence of the series' design, the UI achieved a more accurate and comfortable visual expression on the new hardware carrier.
